Brilliant  Technology National Key R&D Program Achievements Showcased at the 2024 World Intelligent Industry Expo

Publish Time:2024-12-24

From June 20th to 23rd, 2024, the 2024 World Intelligent Industry Expo, themed "Intelligence Leads the World, Energy Drives the Future," was grandly held at the Tianjin National Convention and Exhibition Center Phase II. The conference was co-hosted by the People's Government of Tianjin Municipality and the People's Government of Chongqing Municipality, focusing on the latest achievements and development trends in the global intelligent technology field. Beijing Brilliant  Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Brilliant  Technology) was invited by China Civil Aviation University to participate in this conference, showcasing the research results of the flight area 3D scene modeling and engine system development project undertaken by the company.

Brilliant  Technology is responsible for a sub-topic within the National Key R&D Program's project titled "Intelligent Monitoring and Interconnection of Airport Flight Area Facilities," which is focused on achieving precise perception of flight area activity trends based on 3D reconstruction. This effort aims to further promote the construction of digital twin airports.

Monolithic and Semantic 3D Model Construction Method

This development utilizes new surveying and mapping technologies to establish a monolithic and semantic 3D model construction method, creating a three-dimensional static scene model of the flight area and a three-dimensional entity library. Compared with the manual 3D modeling method based on CAD, the 3D models constructed using the monolithic and semantic 3D model construction method have significantly improved in terms of positioning accuracy, structural accuracy, and texture accuracy. At the same time, this method achieves a transformation of 3D models from human understanding to human-machine compatible understanding, which qualitatively enhances the efficiency and precision of decision-making, allowing for a deeper understanding of 3D models.

Multi-source Spatiotemporal Perception Data Matching and Fusion with 3D Scenes

This development integrates interactive Kalman filtering, LSTM prediction, 2D and 3D matching technologies, and other multi-source spatiotemporal perception data for matching and fusion with 3D scenes such as underpasses and gangways. It achieves the integration of active elements like non-powered equipment, service vehicles, aircraft, and operational personnel with complex scene spaces under different positioning environments.

Flight Area Risk Situation Warning

This development, based on the application of digital twin full-domain and full-scenario operation monitoring, enables warnings for risk situations within the flight area, including aircraft taxiing conflicts, conflicts between aircraft and vehicles, airfield lighting, perimeter security, parking stands, and wind shear.

Data Fusion Platform for Integrating Various Types of Data in the Flight Area

This development is based on BLinkOS, the digital twin operating system independently developed by Brilliant  Technology, and utilizes BLinkOS's data fusion platform to integrate and merge various types of perception data, situational data, and early warning data in the flight area. Bion Technology provides a complete industry digital twin application solution based on BLinkOS, ranging from data and platforms to professional digital management systems, and extending to big data, cloud computing, and cloud storage architecture.

Brilliant  Technology, since its establishment in 2005, has been deeply engaged in the field of digital construction. With the philosophy of "infrastructure digitization and digital infrastructure fundamentalization," the company has developed the proprietary digital twin operating system BLinkOS and was the first to apply digital twin technology to the civil aviation sector. After nearly two decades of technological accumulation and experience in digital construction in the civil aviation field, Bion Technology has successively created benchmark cases of digital twin airport applications, including Beijing Capital International Airport, Beijing Daxing International Airport, Xi'an Xianyang International Airport, and Chengdu Tianfu International Airport.

As the construction of the national modern industrial system progresses, new quality productive forces centered on innovation are rapidly developing. As a new infrastructure provider for the metaverse and a practitioner in the digital twin industry, Brilliant  Technology will take innovation as the foothold for development, continuously innovating new applications of digital twin technology in the civil aviation airport field, and promoting the digital and intelligent transformation of civil aviation airports.
