WGDC (Global Geospatial Developers Conference) has been held since 2012 and has successfully organized eleven sessions, attracting more than 60,000 participants from over twenty countries, becoming a highly influential cross-industry technology and industry event. WGDC has always centered on the core concepts of "cross-boundary, innovation, and transformation," promoting the integration and innovation of aerospace technology with artificial intelligence, cloud, big data, and other new-generation information technologies. It facilitates the implementation of "aerospace +" application scenarios and is hailed by the industry as a "technology and industry vane."
From May 17th to 18th, WGDC2023 (the 12th Global Geospatial Developers Conference) was held in Beijing, with the theme "Spatiotemporal Intelligence: From Perception to Decision-Making." The content included more than ten summits and seminars on digital twin cities, 3D reality, satellite applications, natural resource informatization, high-precision maps and positioning, smart transportation, geospatial intelligence, and other topics. The conference unveiled the "Annual Innovation List," held the "2023 Aerospace Information Technology Innovation Achievement Exhibition," and released several think-tank achievements such as the "China Aerospace Information Industry Development Index Report" and the "Geospatial Industry Trend Report."
The Innovation Awards Annual Innovation List is initiated by Taiber Network, a well-known technology media and industry think-tank platform. After eleven years of development and accumulation, it has become a comprehensive award with significant professional influence in the field of new technology and aerospace geographic information. More than 1,000 companies participate each year, and it is known as the "Science and Technology Innovation Vane Award." The aim is to discover and commend enterprises and products that have breakthrough and innovative achievements in technology research and development, product innovation, and business models. It showcases the infinite possibilities of scientific and technological innovation and industrial upgrading to the global community and promotes the sustainable development of the industry.
At the WGDC2023 conference, the 2023 Annual Innovation List was announced. The list included three major innovation awards: the Top 100 Most Innovative Enterprises of the Year, the Top 30 Most Innovative Products of the Year, and the Top 30 Most Noteworthy Startups of the Year.
