On March 30, 2023, the 25th China Highway Informatisation Conference grandly opened at the Fuzhou Strait International Convention and Exhibition Center. This year marks a period of accelerating the construction of a transportation powerhouse, continuing to promote the high-quality development of transportation, and it is also a crucial year for the innovative development and integrated application of highway informatization. The conference aims to expedite the innovative applications and industrial integration of new generation information technologies such as 5G, big data, cloud computing, artificial intelligence, blockchain, and digital twins in various fields including the construction, management, maintenance, operation, and travel services of expressways. It also focuses on the digital transformation and intelligent upgrading of transportation facilities to promote the high-quality development of transportation, further enhance the level of informatization construction, management, and services of expressways, strengthen the exchange of experience and technology among peers, and promote the application of new technologies and products.
During the conference, the opening ceremony and a keynote report on the analysis of the transportation informatization situation were held, along with forums on "One Network" operation management and key technologies, comprehensive technology, planning and design innovation, and the construction and development of smart highways. These forums delved into the innovative development of expressway informatization in planning, design, construction, management, and services, as well as the application and development of new generation information technologies in expressways. Concurrently with the conference, the 25th China Highway Informatisation Technology and Product Expo was held, showcasing the latest achievements in the research and development and application of China's expressway informatization technology products.
