Publish Time:2025-01-06

On July 13, 2022, the China Geographic Information Industry Association announced the results of the 2022 Geographic Information Technology Progress Award. Beijing Brilliant Technology Co., Ltd., together with Beijing Capital International Airport Co., Ltd., Beijing Jiaotong University and other units, jointly applied for the "Construction and Application of a Super Large scale Smart Operation Digital Platform Based on Spatiotemporal Information" project, which won the second prize of the 2022 Geographic Information Technology Progress Award.

The Geographic Information Technology Progress Award is an award established with the approval of the Ministry of Science and Technology of the People's Republic of China, the National Science and Technology Awards Office, and the National Surveying and Mapping Bureau. It mainly rewards projects, units, and individuals who have made outstanding contributions in China's geographic information science research, technological innovation and development, promotion and application of scientific and technological achievements, high-tech industrialization, major engineering construction, and other aspects. The 2022 Geographic Information Technology Progress Award is based on the "Measures for the Award of Geographic Information Science and Technology" and the "Implementation Rules for the Geographic Information Technology Progress Award". After application, formal review, online evaluation, final evaluation, and approval by the Geographic Information Science and Technology Award Committee, 122 award-winning projects have been awarded. Among them, 6 achievements such as "Innovation and Technology Application of Digital Map Theory in the Era of All Media" won the special prize, 39 achievements such as "Theory, Technology and Application of Earth Spatiotemporal Framework Segmentation" won the first prize, and 77 achievements such as "Construction and Application of Super Large scale Intelligent Operation Digital Platform Based on Spatiotemporal Information" won the second prize.

In the project of "Construction and Application of a Super Large scale Intelligent Operation Digital Platform Based on Spatiotemporal Information", Boneng Group relies on digital twins GIS、BIM、 Through technologies such as the Internet of Things, big data, and artificial intelligence, the integration, fusion, modeling, and simulation of airport geographic information data, spatiotemporal big data, and location big data are achieved. This enables the acquisition and display of spatial entity information resources for the entire lifecycle of the Capital Airport, including "four vertical, two horizontal, six in one" air, ground, surface, underground, indoor, and outdoor areas. It enables platform based display and management of various IoT device information, as well as situational awareness and panoramic visualization of airport business, effectively empowering applications at various levels such as airport decision-making, management, operation, and operation, and supporting the landing of the "digital twin" airport. It continuously guides the continuous improvement of airport security, operational efficiency, and service experience.

Starting from the intelligent operation of airports, this project covers multiple aspects such as passenger services and safety management, achieving intelligent response to various needs such as airport safety, service, operation, and security. It greatly improves operational efficiency and passenger service quality, and helps to continuously improve the normal release and departure rates of flights at the Capital Airport. The number of unsafe incidents within the airport continues to decrease, and ACI satisfaction has ranked first among airports of the same level for many consecutive years. As a new digital means, during the special period of epidemic prevention and control, it has assisted in the process reengineering and transition empowerment of the "Double Olympics Airport", minimizing the risk of personnel infection to the greatest extent possible.
