Exciting and diverse! Brilliant was invited to attend the National Conference on Civil Airport Construction Management

Publish Time:2025-01-07

On November 30, 2021, the National Conference on Civil Airport Construction Management, hosted by the Civil Aviation Administration of China, officially kicked off in Ezhou. The purpose of this meeting is to implement General Secretary Xi Jinping's important instructions on building the "Four Projects" and constructing "Four Types of Airports", based on the new development stage, plan to build airport quality projects and safe construction sites during the "14th Five Year Plan" period, and fully promote the modernization of airport construction management and the construction of a strong civil aviation country. As one of the digital twin airport platform contractors of Ezhou Huahu International Airport, Beijing Brilliant Technology Co., Ltd. was invited to attend and set up a booth on site.

During the meeting, Brilliant Corporation presented its digital twin airport platform in the areas of airport intelligent perception, business integration, and intelligent decision-making. During the airport planning and design phase, the digital twin airport platform operates synchronously and can simulate the height of the tower to analyze the visual range of the field of view. Through simulation technology and VR equipment, one can immerse themselves in the experience of whether the height of the airport building is reasonable and whether the corridors are cramped; During the airport construction phase, the digital twin airport platform can track the construction process of the terminal and flight area, and intelligently manage the construction period and cost; During the airport operation phase, the digital twin airport platform can simulate the weather conditions for a period of time in the future, providing decision-making basis for flight operation and support. Through event management, potential risks in the flight area can be intelligently avoided. By using big data and intelligent algorithms, the trajectory of aircraft and vehicles can be planned reasonably, and runway foreign objects can be intelligently warned and promptly notified to relevant personnel for handling.

Unified map service, realizing one map of the airport
The digital twin airport platform provides unified 2D and 3D map services for visualization applications. 2D map services include slicing services, feature services, and satellite map services, while 3D map services include lightweight 3D services and holographic 3D cloud rendering services. Through a unified map API call, data permissions are managed by the airport geographic information bus.

Breaking down data silos and building a unified data platform
The digital twin airport platform achieves "one map" for the entire airport by establishing a unified geographic information database, thereby improving the reuse rate of map resources, saving map maintenance costs, breaking the data island phenomenon between map applications, and ensuring the consistency and uniqueness of map data.

BIM+GIS integration to create a digital twin airport base
By lightweighting, spatializing, and separating BIM models in the airport design phase, and integrating them with GIS data for mapping, texturing, and rendering, a high fidelity digital twin airport prototype is constructed to achieve the integration of digital assets in the construction and operation of Huahu Airport, providing a digital foundation for intelligent airport operation.

5D simulation scenario, realizing parallel world twin airports
In the three-dimensional virtual simulation scene of the airport, establish a simulation model scheme related to the airside traffic flow of the airport, including models of aircraft, airport special vehicles, etc. Simulate and verify the number of airport vehicles deployed, conflict management, emergency response, and special weather scenarios. By using game level engine rendering, we can truly achieve a one-to-one mapping of real airports in the digital space.
